JUNE 2018
Praise God we are in May and Spring is with us when the day starts early and everything is coming out bright and beautiful. It is my prayer that new and beautiful things will begin to spring forth in your life in Jesus Name. I pray that as you look unto God for one thing or another, your face will be radiant and you will not be ashamed. We thank God for April, our month of DIVINE COVENANT and we acknowledge Him for everything He did amongst us within that month. In April, we had the privilege again to sit under the ministration of our father in the Lord, pastor E. A. Adeboye, during the workers rally with the theme: LET THE FIRE FALL and it was indeed a wonderful night by the grace of God. We cannot also but appreciate God for the success of all our programs and the smooth change in our weekly activities in response to some concerns among workers and members. With effect from April, our weekly programs have changed and rather than have Bible Study on Wednesdays in the church, we hold special strategic prayer meetings which are in tandem with our theme of the month; Bible Study has now moved to the house church and initial indications show that it has taken off very well and we pray that God will establish it in Jesus Name. The month of May is our month of DELIVERANCE and I am particularly excited about what I believe God will do starting from our special monthly prayer and deliverance program, the COME UNTO ME. Our major focus this month will be on not only understanding deliverance scripturally, but how to indeed stay free and never again to be under any yoke, oppression or captivity. Beloved, God’s purpose and provision for every Christian is a life of liberty, freedom and victory. A central feature of God’s covenant with Israel is His commitment to deliver His faithful people from the various dangers that threaten them. This month, God will supernaturally deliver every one of us from whatever will not allow our joy to be full. Beloved, I wish to encourage every one of us to try as much as possible to be present at our various services this month and we should come with the heart of expectation to receive from the Lord and be assured He will not disappoint you. Finally, I wish all May babies and those celebrating one anniversary or the other within the month many happy returns and more joyous celebrations in Jesus Name. I also would like to remind all workers that throughout May we will be holding a general workers class during our usual workers meeting. I hope we all also look forward to our evangelism after service on the last Sunday of the month. The April experience was great and I say a big thank you to all who participated. God will thank you by Himself. Take care and stay blessed in Jesus Name.
